Great design inventions and great creatives go together. In Alca, under the hands of Czech engineers and visionaries, products are created to defeat global competitors. The flagship of the company are design buttons and water-saving flushing systems. For ComtechCAN we designed an online experience that would allow Alca`s audience to easily understand the brand's values and check out with joy and simplicity. We made good use of whitespace and limited the site's colour palette to demonstrate how compelling a monochrome design can be when combined intelligently with full colour imagery. We used a simplistic split-screen homepage with a full page menu that shines on all devices.
Web designers no longer draw their ideas for every device. Starting with smart watches and budget phones, while finishing with big-ass TVs, their attempt to cover all of these situations would be out of their reach.
